Our Story

From a simple yes in a time of crisis to a growing community of care, connection, and opportunity.

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Montgomery County approached Seneca Creek Community Church with an urgent need: could we help launch an emergency grocery delivery center for families in quarantine in Gaithersburg? Our immediate “yes” became the beginning of something much bigger. What started as crisis response has grown into an ongoing commitment to our neighbors—now including a choice food pantry, diaper and baby essentials support, and more. In 2024, we expanded that impact even further by integrating our long-standing ESOL program, creating greater access to vital language development and connection for our community.
